Not only was there an abundant choice of beautiful fabrics to work with and select from, but the entire staff really listened to my needs and concerns. After several thoughtful consultations and on site visits (managed throughout the pandemic and multiple lockdowns) Melanie made perfect suggestions, provided several fabric and design options for each room (several bedrooms and a sitting room), and then oversaw an expedient delivery and installation of each rooms final curtain design. Not only will my family and I enjoy years of beautiful well-made curtains in our home, but I know that when I need to organize another design project (additional curtains, reupholstered furniture, or other fabric-oriented details) I would happily return to Julianne Kelly Interiors. Additionally, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to refurbish aspects of their own home interiors.

I engaged Kevin Kelly Interiors for all interior works during the renovation of my house. Kevin Kelly Interiors selected and fitted curtains, wallpaper, carpet, paint and even some lights and furniture. Kevin Kelly Interiors is a jewel in the middle of Donnybrook. The ever beautiful window display never fails to tempt me to venture inside where one is immediately surrounded by magnificent fabrics, glorious colour and a unique mix of traditional and contemporary. Julianne and her team are most generous with their time, have a real sense of style and are true professionals. I have been dealing with Kevin Kelly Interiors for many years and love the continuity of colour and design that they deliver. I had my sofas re-upholstered last year with a modern twist and am delighted that my 17 year old curtains, chosen by Kevin, still provide the perfect backdrop!

We choose to go with an interior designer for a number of reasons. A. Myself and my husband find it difficult agreeing on most things. He is contemporary and I'm more traditional. B. financial. I was fed up wasting money on furniture and colour schemes that either didn't look right or only looked ok. C. Less stress. I discovered Kevin kelly interiors by chance walking past the shop in Donnybrook. A sign in the window stated that they could help with the final touches and soft furnishings and that is exactly what I needed. Julianne visited my house for the initial consultation which took under an hour, during the consultation a follow up appointment was made to discuss the colour schemes textiles etc that they felt worked well in the spaces I had asked her to focus on. I live in a 3 bed semi D on the outskirts of dublin and although I'm sure the team are used to working on large projects with bigger budgets I was treated like a valued customer.. We had remodelled the house and I was tired of looking at unfinished walls and holes in the ceiling from old fittings being removed and also embarrassed to have people round. I'm so happy with the end result. My house finally feels like a home.

Now I may still not know my voile from my roman but working with Julianne and her team at Julianne Kelly Interiors I have a home that is classy but unfussy and most importantly very much “me”. Thats a pretty impressive result when the best brief I could give at the start of the project to give my home a makeover was that I know what I don’t like but have no idea what I want.
